Everyone has turn-ons and turn-offs. What are some of yours? Prefefences are what makes swinging so intereting...all the different body-types and all sorts of people...mmmmm....like Baskin Robbins 31 flavors, only much better!
Have fun!

Dan's a smoker, and to a lot of people that may be a turn off, but he's very considerate, and carries breath spray all the time. If he's smoking at the bar area, or any other smoking area, he's so careful not to blow smoke in anyone's direction or leave a cigarette smoldering. Ugh.
I would imagine that most of us would use samples of deodorants, or deodorant sprays while at Red Rooster if play got a bit wild and, like me, things heated up quite a bit! I made sure to use cologne, but tried not to be overwhelming with it too. We are very clean people, and like the same. Guys, trim those fingernails please, or use an emory board to smooth your nails. (Ladies too, for those like me who like to touch a lot)
Pushy people? Nah... Confident people? Oh yes, oh yes, oh my god yes!

But bad hygene is damn unsexy. And I would follow that with bad attitudes in the turnoff department.
And although I may be in the minority in this, too many tattoos can can be a deal-breaker, too.
CAN be... I've been know to bend on that, though.

Although I like being told what to do, I don't like overly pushy people. "Suck my dick" doesn't always work for me (unless Dan tells me to with that wonderfully wicked look he can give). But, "Come hard for me Baby" works for me very well. So, I think the command thing is something I enjoy more when it's in reference to my own self (Spread your legs., take off your clothes and I'll be home in 10 minutes," those kinds of "order"). I like that power of suggestion, the anticipation.
Rude people are rude in most areas, including sexually. There's no reason or room for that in my life anymore. I'm having too much fun with people who genuinely are there to please and be pleased, give and take, and are gracious and fun and open and have a sense of humor.

We VOTED poor hygiene but could have easily included:
Naked too soon - We disagree that nobody can get naked too soon; it's a total turn-off to both of us if even a beautiful woman is dancing naked 15 minutes after arriving. That should be saved for a little later after everyone has gotten "warmed up." In our humble opinion anyway... let's leave a little something to the imagination.
Large Penis (No personality) - Ugh! How pathetic (and oh what a waste) is it for some guy who's really hung to come up and act like he is god's gift? Total loser to us from the word "go."
Too Pushy - Again, these people dont get very far with either of us. While we both appreciate someone who has confidence in themselves (heck, that's sexy), it's a fine line that some tread between confidence and conceit.
Poorly Dressed - We're not the snappiest dressers in the world, but anyone who is looking to hook up with someone else should at least make a decent attempt at looking like they care about how they look! While this primarily applies to the guys who come in dressed in ratty/dirty jeans and a T-shirt (un-tucked), it can occasionally apply to a woman. Just show up dressed as well as if you were going out with the hopes of picking up a date in a nice club...
Lastly, dishonesty is the biggest turn-off we have encountered in this lifestyle. We'd rather get to know someone as they truly are rather than who/what they wish they were! This ties in with disrespect towards either of both of us. To us, dishonesty is equal to being disrespectful of US! We both agree with the comments regarding the guy who only talks to/compliments my wife when I am away.

Hi Gina, I really like that you said that, because so many people 'put up' with rudeness, rather that encourage politeness. My favorite science fiction author, Robert Heinlein, was rabid about rudeness. The main characters in more than one of his books always spoke very strongly about it, basically saying that there is no excuse for rudeness. Anyway, glad to see you not having room in you life for it!
